What to bring to practice - suit, goggles, towel, cap, water bottle
Swimmers should have a good suit and good quality goggles. We will provide a swim cap on our first day. Coaches and board members can help adjust goggles and teach you how to "cap" your child.
The below swimsuit suggestions are in our team colors. You can wear a team suit for practice or meets but it is not required. Girls should wear one-piece suits. Boys should wear jammers since trunks drag a lot in the pool. One other bit of information, when fitting a suit, the suit should fit snugly without the fabric wrinkling or folding. The suit will stretch out a bit over the course of a season, too. Proper fit is probably more important in the teen years versus our younger swimmers who are not swimming super-fast yet and will grow more rapidly. For teens especially, suits with a high percentage of polyester will last longer than nylon or Lycra. It's worth spending a bit more for suits that will last an entire season.
I've included various options and price points. Royal blue is our team color.
